The Council's Sustainability Coordinator helps the Nelson community engage in actions that benefit environmental, economic, and social sustainability. The coordinator is responsible for a range of educational services, including waste education in schools and businesses, environmental education in schools, recycling at events, Ecofest, and individual programmes such as home composting through Create Your Own Eden.
