Temporary Road Closures

Temporary road closures are those that will be closed for less than two months for temporary road or infrastructure work.

Morrison Street - weekly on Wednesdays until March 2010

All of Morrison Street  will be closed to ordinary traffic from 12noon until 6.30pm every Wednesday from 6 January 2010 until 31 March 2010. This closure is to enable the Nelson Farmers Market  to be held on these dates at Fashion Island.

Allisdair Street - Tuesday 16 March

Allisdair Street in the vicinity of Nos 13, 14 and 15 will be closed to ordinary traffic on Tuesday 16 March 2010 from 8.30am until 4.00pm. This closure is required to allow the removal and replacement of two power poles by United Group Ltd. If the weather is an issue, the work will be carried the following day with the road closed at the same times.

Scotia Street - Wednesday 17 - Wednesday 24 March

Scotia Street from No 54 to No 61 will be closed to ordinary traffic on Wednesday 17 to Wednesday 24 March 2010 inclusive, each day from 7am until 5.30pm. This closure is required to allow the renewal of a water main by Adock and Donaldson.
