Regional Surveillance Pests are pests which may pose a high potential risk but there is limited information on their regional distribution and impact. These pests are banned from sale, propagation or distribution, but there are no Strategy rules requiring the land occupier to undertake control measures. These pests will be monitored by the Management Agency, which will gather information and keep records on their distribution and impact, provide information and advice to land occupiers, and promote voluntary control.
