Provision of Property Information fees and charges

On this page you will find the comprehensive list of fees and charges for obtaining property information. All fees apply from 15 March 2010.

Land Information Memorandum (LIM)

  • Residential sites: $285
  • Commercial and Industrial sites: $440

Access to Site File Documents

Property information - $20 (no charge for owners of site), includes

  • Residential site files
  • Commercial/industrial site files
  • Building consent files
  • Resource consent and subdivision files

Charges will allow for up to 15 minutes staff time to discuss the file contents. Beyond this time charges for staff will apply as per Building Consent checking.

Memory stick: for transfer of scanned property information: $15

Deposited plans (DPs)s and Survey office plans (SOs): $20

Organisations requiring regular access to site file records can negotiate a ‘regular user’ rate for access to records and photocopying facilities as follows.

  • Concession Card (5 file access): $80
  • Regular Users Corporate (2 or more from same company): $1,730
  • Sole Practitioner: $865
