The Nelson City Council Summer Passport is a pocketful of info on how young people can have a great summer in the city. It is free and is being distributed through secondary schools in the next two weeks and will also be available from Nelson City and Tasman District Council offices and public libraries, the New Hub, Radioworks and selected places around the city.
It is in a popular, easy to carry format - about the size of a business card - and has 36 pages of information and ideas on how to have a safe, fun holiday and summer season.
Last year the vouchers for free giveaways were a big hit so even more have been added, plus there's the chance to win an iPod Nano 8GB and other prizes for those who use all their Passport vouchers.
Use three or more of the vouchers in the Passport this summer, get each one stamped when you present it as part of the Summer Passport Competition and you're in to win an iPod Nano 8GB or other cool prizes. Don't forget to put your contact info on the back page.
Supported by Gizmos, Rebel Sport, Subway, State Cinemas, Amcal Pharmacy
The Summer Passport continues the partnership between Nelson City Council, Nelson and Tasman Youth Councils, Public Health, Police and Radioworks. The groups work in collaboration to get messages out about how to enjoy the summer safely, especially for those aged under 20.
