Obtain a copy of the Nelson Resource Management Plan

The Plan is available either in hard copy, on CD, or to download from our website. Copies are also available for viewing at Nelson's public libraries in Halifax Street, Nelson and Putaitai Street, Stoke and at the Planning Counter, Civic House.

This is an uncontrolled document. Holders of copies of the NRMP must take appropriate steps to be satisfied as to whether it is up to date.

Hard Copy

To purchase a hard copy of the Plan contact the Planning Assistant, Environmental Policy or call into Council's Planning Counter. Plans cost $150.00 incl GST for the text and $150.00 incl GST for the maps. An annual subscription to receive regular plan updates costs $25 for the text and $25 for the maps. 

CD ROM

To purchase a CD ROM containing text and maps, as well as the Nelson Air Quality Plan, contact the Planning Assistant, Environmental Policy. The annually updated CD ROM costs $15 incl GST per year.
