Marsden Memorial

A stone plaque. A modest stone cairn at the start of one of Marsden Valley's many picturesque walks records the dead from World War II. 

Eleven names are listed, three of them are Ching. The story of the Ching brothers, who attended Nelson College, can be found on the PROW.

The Marsden Memorial is a few kilometres up Marsden Valley Road.
