Nelson Public Libraries provides members and visitors to the libraries with a wide range of services and facilities.
These include:
Each of our libraries provides computers which have free access to the internet, allow email and have attached printers. There is a charge for printing.
The computers are heavily used and we offer a booking system (for most this is on the day only).
Nelson Public Libraries is part of the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa (APNK) and our computers which are part of this network offer a wide range of applications, from Microsoft office to Skype and graphics packages. These computers also have CD and DVD drives and USB ports to allow you to download and upload your information.

Free wireless access is available in each of our libraries.
Staff can provide some assistance with applications available on our computers. Talk to us about the assistance which you require.
Computer classes are offered on a regular basis.
The libraries provide black and white photocopying at 20c. per copy for A4 and A3 copies.
