Interloans
Nelson Public Library members can get material from other libraries when it is not available from our stock.
This includes:
- Books
- Some music CDs and educational DVDs
- Articles from periodicals (photocopied or scanned)
- Talking Books (only for the print disabled) - there is no charge for this

Charges:
A charge is made on all interlibrary loan services; the charge will vary ($5-$20) depending on where we source the material. Interloans have an issue period of 3 weeks.
If you have not been able to identify books or articles on a particular subject we can make a selection of one or two books to interloan on your behalf. Alternatively we can provide a printed list of items available on interloan for you to select from; there is a charge of $5 for this service.
