Wayfinding signs underway Council staff have been working hard with urban designers Isthmus Group and Art Consultant Janet Bathgate Design to develop a sign format for Wayfinding around Nelson. The signs will assist locals and visitors in finding their way around the city and to key destinations like Founders Heritage Park, the Marina and the Centre of New Zealand. The signs will be robustly constructed from glass, steel and wood and include mapping information on both sides of the sign.…

December 2010 - Issue Four New draft designs released Several new draft designs for projects are now open for feedback. Inner city pedestrian improvements Designs for the addition of raised crossings along Hardy Street and at Wakatu Lane (entrance to Wakatu Square car park) have been done and Council is now seeking feedback from businesses on them.
