Cost for a hanging basket

The hanging baskets are funded through the cooperation of local businesses who pay a per basket fee of $50 (plus gst) each season. For new baskets there is an additional $100 (plus gst) for the initial set-up of fixtures and irrigation systems. For new baskets outside the CBD there is an additional $140 (plus GST).

These fees account for approximately 25% of the total programme costs. The remainder comes from the Council with a portion of the budget raised from parking meter revenue in the CBD.

Order or reorder a hanging basket

Please fill out the form below to order a new hanging basket or to reorder an existing hanging basket.

Remember:

• the display period is from early December until Easter annually
• the price includes all maintenance, watering, hanging, replacement and removal
• invoices are sent in December after the baskets are hung
