Play Nelson's own nine hole course in a valley setting alongside a beautiful river surrounded by leafy shade trees where tui, pigeons and kingfishers create an all day chorus.
Fees
Concession tickets are on offer for 3, 6 and 12 month durations. Junior golfers are encouraged to play and the junior rate applies for students up through secondary school.

Hire equipment
Sets include a trundler, except for junior sets. Half sets include five irons, two woods and a putter. Sets do not include balls or tees.

Waahi Taakaro is open every day except Christmas Day. Summer hours start with Daylight Savings Time.

- Turn left onto Selwyn Place
- Turn right onto Collingwood. Go one block.
- At the roundabout turn left onto Nile.
- Turn left before the second bridge onto Maitai Valley Road.
- The golf course is 3 km on your right.
