WASTE NOT, WANT NOT – THE BUSINESS CASE FOR REDUCING WASTE

We all know that changing processes is hard, but in the case of waste is it possible that, apart from being kind to the environment, it’s worth doing?

We thought this was a great question to ask, so our waste education providers (Waste Education Services from the Nelson Environment Centre) went out to work with local businesses to test out how reducing waste could enhance their business.

As a result we have a series of great case studies!  Short summaries are available from the links below, with more details information available from Waste Education Services (http://www.wes.org.nz/business).  If you’d like to know more please contact our sustainability adviser or call on 03 546 0339.
