Nelson City Council

Led by David Francis, Sustainable Business Advisor, the tour will look at businesses that consider their 'triple bottom line:' social and environmental performance in addition to economic performance - all of which can result in business cost savings.

The tour will visit Woollaston Estate, Tasman Bay Herbs, Greenwoods Medical Centre and Arcadia Organics.

Each of the businesses on the tour demonstrate their own approach to sustainability. The Business Tour is a showcase for enlightened businesses that have indentified the opportunities presented by sustainable business practices and are endeavouring to incorporate them into their systems.

Tickets

Business Tour tickets are $20 for SBN members and $25 for non-SBN members. They are available  from 21 July at all Nelson City and Tasman District Council offices.
