Community Events Noticeboard

This noticeboard is for advertising Nelson events, and is maintained by library staff who have the discretion to decide if a notice will be displayed and for how long.

Please hand your notice to library staff at the issue desk.   Notices are added to the board by staff on Mondays and Thursdays.

Preference is given to:

  • notices relating to the Nelson City area (ie Whangamoa to Stoke)
  • professional-looking printed notices over handwritten ones
  • notices A4 size or smaller

For Sale notices or commercial notices are not accepted for display

Notices may be removed by library staff if they are:

  • Untidy or torn
  • Past their expiry date
  • Have been placed on the board by other than library staff
  • Due to demand for space, notices may be removed before their expiry date
