Community Assistance Funding for 2010/11

Nelson City Council has allocated its Contract Funding and One-off Grants from the Community Assistance Fund.

Recipients of the funding are not-for-profit organizations that provide services to the Nelson community across a wide range of sectors. A full list is included below.

The fund is intended to support those organizations that are providing services in line with the Council's own objectives as developed through long term planning with the Nelson Community. It is recognized that by developing partnerships and investing in not-for-profit groups the Council can help to attract additional funding into the community from Central Government and other funding agencies.
