December 2010 Opening hours over the Christmas period[#hours] Statutory Clock start and stop times[#clock] Duty Inspector over Christmas and New Year[#duty] Civic House office refit[#refit] Regional map service shows off top of the South[#gis] Feedback and contacts[#feedback] Merry Christmas and Happy New Year As we draw closer to the end of the year we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on a busy and highly productive 2010. Highlights for the year have included the opening of the new Customer Centre which has resulted in very positive feedback from our customers and we aim to build on this success. In tandem with the opening of the Customer Centre new roles were developed to provide a Duty Officer and Duty Inspector roles to provide technical back up for the Customer Centre and a contact point for building related enquiries.…

The team was sent to Waimakariri District and Christchurch City Suburbs for rapid response assessments of damaged buildings in the worst hit areas.…

Booking a Duty Building Officer A Duty Building Officer is available at the Customer Centre daily from 8. 30am – 5pm. Appointment bookings can be made for the Duty Building Officer through the Customer Service Centre and is recommended to avoid waiting times when the officer is busy with other customers.…
